Featuring hand-forged Japanese R2 stainless steel core damascus blades with a hammered finish plus damascus lines near the blade edge, this pattern is called the VillageForge series.

The Salter Classic style 127mm blade, is our most popular and requested steak knife.  Each blade is signed in kanji by the bladesmith.

The knife handles have been carefully handmade of exotic Hawaiian Monkey Pod and Jacaranda woods.

Finishing details include stainless steel bolsters (that section at the top of the handle nearest the blade), Each knife is made from contrasting woods, with six knives featuring dark monkey pod with jacaranda accents and the other six knives featuring the opposite configuration.

Features of the box include floating lid which helps prevent warping in various environments.  Other upgrades include a complete velvet lined removable bottom liner and velvet lined removable trays. Solid brass box hinges hold the lid open at a 95 degree angle. Antique brass swing latches have been added for additional security and safety.
