The blades were hand-forged using traditional forging methods in Japan and made exclusively for Salter Fine Cutlery using our own design by our bladesmith. 

Made from VG10 core damascus Japanese stainless steel, this high-quality steel will impress you with its sharpness and edge retention. 

This set features a unique and beautiful combination of hammer marks and damascus lines on the blade pattern. We call this design series the 'hammer-polished Salter classic'. It has a polished finish that will compliment any dinnerware or dining room decor.

Our 6-piece steak knife set has handles of exhibition grade, very rare and sustainably sourced, Hawaiian curly koa wood with our hand-contoured brass bolsters. Decorative features include black and brass accents.

Included is a handmade curly koa wood keepsake box for sturdy stackable storage or to proudly leave out for permanent display.
