About the Blade:

The knife features a full-tang design created by and made exclusively for Salter Fine Cutlery.  It was hand-forged from a solid bar of extremely high-quality Japanese R2 core damascus stainless steel. 

The blade is hollow ground for cutting large roasts with ease.

About the Handles:

• Our signature custom, handcrafted handles were made from 5A grade Hawaiian curly koa wood. This wood is not only beautiful, but very rare as it ONLY grows in Hawaii. It has been kiln-dried and legally harvested from dead, or damaged trees from storms or other naturally occuring reasons.
• Handmade African blackwood (aka Mozambique ebony) bolsters plus an orange faux gemstone complete the look.
  
• The box was handcrafted from solid 4A curly Hawaiian koa wood and has a hand-rubbed wax finish on all exterior sides. 

As with all of our products, they can be purchased with or without storage options.
