Custom Engraved Serving Board
This serving board was a custom request. Our client wanted a board with a Hawaiian curly koa wood interior, with added end pieces made from Hawaiian curly mango wood.
The combination was perfect for customized engraving on both ends of the board.
Our standard serving board size of approximately 18 inches x 14 inches and about 1 inch thickness was requested. We can make your serving board in your choice of size.
These serving boards will not only look great as a decorative piece, or use as a serving, sandwich or cheese board, or use as a cutting board. There are many uses.
Grooved handle indents on the back of the board allow easy lifting off any countertop.
It has been constructed throughout of solid curly koa wood, with the exception of the end pieces, which were made of Hawaiian mango wood. We have added our SalterFineCutlery logo to one end of the board. The logo combines an outline of a koa tree, with crossed chef knives and a heart within the tree.
The board has been internally joined throughout for lasting beauty, and has been finished with food safe cutting board mineral oil and butcher block food-safe wax.
