This collectible was a custom request for a display knife with a nautical theme, including a trident. We included a piece of history as well! Have a look at Gregg's creation with decorative accents detailed in the photos below:

Blade: Handmade by Kiku exclusively for Salter Fine Cutlery. Collaboration: Only four blades made with this finish (MkII Limited Edition). Number 4 of 4. Logos on blade: Kiku and Salter. 210mm Steel: OU-31 Japanese steel.

Bolster Fitting: Brass with nautical Trident shape. Created completely by eye and hand by Gregg Salter.

Unique Piece of History Included-Handle and Inside Box: Wood accents near brass bolster and end fitting were created from reclaimed teak deck wood from the USS Missouri battleship. 

Wood plate on bottom of box also made from teak wood from the deck of the Battleship USS Missouri. A special piece of history for a very nautical collectible piece of art. USN designation engraved on plate signifies the battleship.
